What

I was just checking my traffic and stats--Somebody in Iran is repeatedly entering the term "downloading sexual clips" into Yahoo's search page, and then being linked directly to my blog.

Why?

Speculation: You wrote about Iraqis voting and their feelings for America and President Bush. Your piece got a lot of attention. The storm troopers in Iraq are doing their best to make your site unavailable to Iranians fighting for the same freedom. "Sex sites" are the easiest to censor. Your site is being made into a site that can't get through the filters. Congratulations. Welcome to fighting tyranny.

P.S. Have you decided to fight (even in a small way) or are you still sitting on the fence? Or worse, having been made to get up on the fence because of your open-mindedness and willingness to actually listen to people a few days back, have you found it easier to jump back down to the same side you started on. What is it that they say, oh yes, did you just "move on."

Maybe they're coming here to stave off the actual downloading of sexual clips, because it's "not on the agenda at this point in time."

Don't know if Iran's getting set to filter you out or not - but some search engines will tag you for something like that if you've got the three words on the same page.

Not much help for it. I've got a friend who constantly gets tagged for nude calendars for the same reason. Search engines aren't the brightest software around.
